Luxembourg is an inland continental country in northwestern Europe, bordered by Belgium to the north and west, Germany to the east and France to the south.
Luxembourg's industry is mainly based on iron ore deposits and steel production, but subsequently they are almost completely exhausted. However, metalworking continues to be an important economic item, along with the chemical industry. Potato and cereal production and winemaking have been developed.
